Our Fees
Our fees: We will provide an estimate of our fees and other expenses on request. The cost of court action is difficult to estimate. However, we will discuss the risks with you and are happy to agree an amount that we will not exceed without your written agreement.
Free advice: We offer a 30-minute 'no strings' initial free interview in respect of any prospective conveyancing transaction.
Making an appointment: please try and make an appointment before you call in. We are open 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday and can see you at other times by arrangement.
Legal Aid: many of our clients qualify for Legal Aid. We will always apply for Legal Aid on your behalf if you are eligible. If Legal Aid does not cover all the work involved or you have to make a statutory payment, we will inform you before any work for which you will have to pay is undertaken.
Legal Aid Franchise: we have been awarded a Legal Aid Franchise for housing and matrimonial work. This means that, in these particular areas of law, our solicitors have the authority to grant emergency legal aid. We do not have to make prior referral to the Legal Aid Board which allows us to take action much more quickly.
Emergencies: we will always try to see you immediately in an emergency.
Making Payments: Oliver Fisher accept all credit card payments (over the phone and in person) except for American Express.
